the works I do shall he
do also; and greater works
than these shall he do…”

The 5 Nation / Marketplace Transformation Paradigms -

Marketplace Transformation Paradigm #1

The Great Commission is not just about discipling individuals; it is about discipling the Nations.

The mandate is to disciple Nations and the key is that we ask the Holy Spirit how.  Read Matthew 28:18-20.  Another key reference from the Old Testament is Jeremiah 1:10, which says – “I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.”

Marketplace Transformation Paradigm #2
The Marketplace, which is the heart of the nation, has already been redeemed by the Lord Jesus.  It now needs to be reclaimed.
Col. 1:19, 20
Luke 19:10 says, “The son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost.”
What was lost?  Relationship.  Personal, Inter-personal – and Marketplace.

Marketplace Transformation Paradigm #3
Every Christ follower is a minister and has a ministry (Period).  And our work is worship!

The anointing to close deals, create incredible plans or run City governments is the same anointing that Billy Graham has when he stands before thousands to preach the gospel.

Marketplace Transformation Paradigm #4
Our assignment is not to build the church, Jesus said He would do that, our assignment is to take the Kingdom of God to where the gates of Hell and darkness is still entrenched.
Mt. 16:17-19

Marketplace Transformation Paradigm #5
Nation transformation must be relevant and tangible; and the premier social indicator for this - is the elimination of systemic poverty.
The poor, the prisoner, the blind, and the oppressed don’t understand nor can they relate to the message being passed out.  Unfortunately it doesn’t reach them where they hurt.  When it does touch them where they hurt we will be able to proclaim that the Kingdom of God has come near to them and the King is at the door of their hearts waiting to come in.  It will also provide them with the opportunity to participate in entrepreneurial practices and businesses that will move them from an entitlement mindset to empowerment lifestyle.

The books That None Should Perish,  Prayer Evangelism, and Anointed for Business, by Ed Silvoso, provide deeper insights into these principles and paradigms.  http://www.harvestevan.org/

Prototypes

Prototypes are defined as:  A first or original model that is setting a standard for others to follow and implement.  Marketplace Solutions is featuring working models that we have partnered with in order to clarify the transformation message and encourage those who have chosen to be agents of change themselves.

The TurnAround Group is a group of service companies which provide professional building maintenance services to commercial customers throughout Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.  One of the companies within the Turnaround Group is the TAG Distribution Network, Inc.

TAG Distribution Network is run by Jeff and Josh Swogger.  Jeff is the father of Josh and together they are pursuing a vision of establishing and running a powerful Kingdom Company here in Northeast Ohio and Western PA.

Part of the business model of TAG is that they are beginning this small business with the intent of giving a portion of their profits away to area needs, ministries and other transformation efforts.  They refer to themselves as a reverse tithe kingdom company.  Reverse tithe means they are going to give 90% of the profits away.  I know... how does a company like this plan on surviving?  Can a company start this way?  Don't you have to make millions before you consider something like this?  Not if it's God's Company.  This seemed like another occassion to state - "No one has ever done that before."
