Seminar Special Guests – Chuck Ripka and David Monroy
In October 2004, the New York Times Magazine featured Chuck Ripka for his openness to bring Christian faith and prayer into his business resulting in extraordinary financial and spiritual growth. Chuck’s testimonies in his book titled God Out of the Box shares how God can use a simple man to do extraordinary things through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Chuck serves as an elder at Alliance Community Church in Elk River. He has been meeting with the Elk River area pastors and marketplace for over seven years praying for transformation within their community. Chuck and his wife, Kathi, of Big Lake, Minnesota, have been married for 28 years. They also have been abundantly blessed with five children, three of whom are married, and six grandchildren.
Simultaneously – hundreds of miles away in a law firm in Honolulu, the Lord was using an Attorney named David Monroy to lead marketplace transformation via his law firm. Through this and some extraordinary hunger on the part of many other believers in and around the islands God began to knit a vision for transformation on every level – Government, Education, Business and the church. From the Lt. Governor to Mayors in small island areas – God was causing His people to repent and enter in to the reclaiming of the land for His purposes.
Now God has brought the two of them together as partners in Rivers International – which develops community banks globally with Kingdom purposes.
On April 19th and 20th, both Chuck and David will be our guests here in the Mahoning Valley for the second Marketplace Solutions Transformation and Equipping Seminar.
