You are the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus! To the level you BElieve this statement may be level you see yourself in it. It's 100% true. What I've realized is that Right Doing can't take the place of Right Being. It can't even precede Right Being.

Our comparisons are missing the chosen mark of becoming like God. The failures, the missteps, the unbelief, the fear… these bring condemnation. The gift of God’s grace, ah… now that’s different. It reveals what is already there. It’s much more than we deserve. It’s much more than we expect. It’s much more than we believe. It’s much more than we appropriate. God’s much more releases fulfillment, abundant provision, grace, righteousness, glory and the ability to reign in this life.

Happy New Year from Marketplace Solutions!

I can’t predict what the coming year holds for you or any of us. What I can predict is that year after year there has been a consistent thread woven into the fabric of my experience. The thread is God is Good, God is faithful, God is reigning, God is extravagant, God is merciful, God is forgiving, God is loving, God is penetrating and powerful… and God Works!

God is a genius!
We live as if He’s not sometimes and worse yet, we live as if we don’t know this. What would happen if we launched out of 2012 by saying what we mean and meaning what we say?

Read the scripture below:

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” - Proverbs 18:21

A lot of us are tired and worn out. We don't like the steady diet of negativity or the constant drip of same old' - same old'.
Proverbs says 'we eat the fruit we love.' And, that the fruit we're eating is cultivated out of what we speak every day.

What if the very thing that has created dysfunction and collapse in each of us personally is the hinge point to create fulfillment and blessing as well? What if we dealt with the lies associated with what we’ve done and had done to us – so that the truth about who we are could manifest?

Everywhere I look I see God’s people laying down their agenda’s and picking up a Kingdom Mindset and Focus for Transformation. This may not be your perspective but it is mine. I serve a powerful – triumphant King. This is a season of Hope for God’s sons and daughters and we should be championing it across every relationship and sphere we touch.
Hearts are being awakened to the reality that I don’t have to have a title, a certificate, a tremendous amount of money or some other constraint of expectation – we just need to have a heart that is fully relying on God to do what He says He will do. He is indeed the heavy lifter. People are praying all over the marketplace. People are seeking first His Kingdom and His Righteousness.

The Timing of God and the Tyranny of the Urgent

As Christians in the marketplace we are being challenged like never before to bend under the cultural influences of our day. For many of us technology has actually created more issues and less time with God. What is supposed to establish automation, efficiency and consolidation, along with better communication is actually keeping us from each other relationally and God intimately. Most business leaders that I coach and train tell me they don’t have time for relationships. They don’t say it that bluntly, but when we talk about the value of building a relationship foundation first – most of them say, ‘I don’t have the time.’

The Assignment – “Your mission should you choose to accept it…”

Who are you? No, I’m not talking about your first and last name, nor your title or position at work. Rather, I’m talking about who you are as a Christian and representative of our Lord where you work and spend the majority of your time? Too often, as Christ followers we forget who we are called to be and what that looks like day in and day out. Let’s take a moment and do a brief survey in scripture.

As believers (workplace / anyplace ministers) we are called to be:

Missed it by That much!

I don’t know about you but there seems to be a lot of that going on these days. As leaders, mentors and transformational disciplers we need to recognize when we miss it. Beyond that when I do miss it I need to be able to look at myself and see where, why and how I missed it. Let me ask you a question ...
