Workplace Prayer – Praying with Empowering Grace

What if you knew that others couldn't or wouldn't reciprocate in like fashion, effort, or intent to your acts of love, kindness, joy, patience, sacrifice, commitment, etc...? Would you stop giving yourself away? Come on, we all would stop eventually. Human nature tells us NOT to “put up with it”.  That’s the difference between us and God.

God never, ever, ever gives up on us and His intended purpose. He is the Covenant Maker. The Covenant Maker knew in advance that He had to be the fulfillment of the very thing that would set people free and reveal His goodness and glory.

The gap between Covenant Promises and our ability to be Covenant Keepers is filled with God’s Grace.
Every time we become Covenant Keepers – it takes God. When we do become Covenant Keepers we become One with God and He does the work of glory and grace in us and through us. When we become One with God – He commands His Covenant blessings to us. You can’t stop it!

The distinction about being Covenant Keepers is that we are constantly praying and choosing to BE like God to the world around us. The hinge point of all covenant is in agreement. When we love God according to His purpose we become like His Son, day by day, moment by moment, and never worry about reciprocity – only revealed glory.

“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” - 2 Cor. 5:21

The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off--for all whom the Lord our God will call." – Acts 2:39

“For all of God's promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding "Yes!" And through Christ, our "Amen" (which means "Yes") ascends to God for his glory.” – 2 Cor. 1:20

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them. For God knew His people in advance, and He chose us to become like His Son, so that His Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And having chosen them, He called them to come to Him. And having called them, He gave them right standing with Himself. And having given them right standing, He gave us His glory. What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since He did not spare even His own Son but gave Him up for us all, won’t He also give us everything else?” - Romans 8:28-32

Father God, the Covenant Maker and Ultimately the Great Covenant Keeper – we come to You with great expectation today. Thank You for being to us what we could never be for ourselves. You are good! You are holy! You are majestic! You are the Great Reconciler and Covenant Maker of All People. You have given us access to a Hope beyond Hope, and to promises fulfilled.  We have everything we need for this life and for godliness. Make us a Glory Revealer to a generation of people who long to be satisfied with living water.  We make Covenant Agreement with the Great I Am today.  Make us One with You. Remove every ounce of insecurity and confusion that would set itself up against the knowledge of Your will and glory.  Give us a fresh anointing as Ambassadors of Reconciliation and Hope today!

In Jesus Name!  Amen!
