I’m excited to bring a report of how the Lord moved among us here in Youngstown over the last two days. Those who were there were there because God order their steps for a divine appointment.
On Friday we had a Leadership Breakfast with the key area leaders in attendance (The Superintendant of City Schools, the first lady of Youngstown – Sonja Williams, the Mayors Chief of Staff, City Council members, the County Auditor, Pastors from 5 different cities). Over a dozen stayed an additional 45 minutes after for more Q & A.
Later that afternoon we conducted a luncheon at a Youngstown company – GBS Corp. GBS is a company that I have been serving for 3 years and is emerging as a powerful kingdom company in the region.
Saturday was indeed the best of all, 52 area believers gathered at Youngstown Christian School for a ½ day Transforming the Marketplace Seminar. Our focus was to introduce and teach about the 5 Pivotal Paradigms for Transformation as Ed Silvoso has developed and implemented around the world. By far the highlight was the teaching on the 5th Paradigm for Nation Transformation by Mayor Stephanie Klinzing, of Elk River, MN. We have this teaching audio recorded and we’ll be making it available on the Marketplace Solutions website very soon. “Blown away”, is how one person described his reaction. The Mayor spoke with power and clarity about the issue of Systemic Poverty.
As we ended the seminar those in attendance gathered together and repented for missing the mark, for living in a way that was keeping the kingdom of God from being revealed, and for perpetuating issues of systemic poverty. Before departing, I challenged the participants to not only pray, but to take action in spheres of influence.
Northeast Ohio is moving toward the heart and purposes of God and transformation in our region is more than just a concept it is an emerging reality.
