Pray 3 Days was organized by the Churches of Youngstown; therefore, we adhere to the scripture that states:“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land,” (II Chronicles 7:14 KJV).
Pray 3 Days is a time of spiritual revival for our entire community. We seek as a community to be on one accord as in Acts 2:1 KJV “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.” We believe that our community concerns are of a spiritual nature; therefore, we must use spiritual means to repair them.
Pray 3 Days has a Prayer Vigil Committee organizing the 72-hour tent vigil by engaging the community churches to ensure that the vigil is continuous throughout the event, “… And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd” (John 10:16 KJV). The Prayers will focus on the spiritual, economic and social needs of our families, our community and our nation.
Pray 3 Days is bringing Christ Centered Christian speakers and musicians to the Covelli Centre arena On September 10 – 12, 2009 to Pray and Celebrate with a Powerful Purpose.
Pray 3 Days will bring Grammy winning recording artist J Moss along with Nationally Known Ministers such as Rev Roderick Hennings Pastor of Zion Dominion in Buffalo, NY. In addition, Rev Gary Frost Pastor of Evergreen Baptist Church Brooklyn, NY; Elder Rev Robert Christian; The Honorable Rev Dr Morris W Lee Pastor of Third Baptist Church; Rev Rosalyne Mitchell-Martin Pastor of Price Memorial AME Zion Church and others will make presentations at the event. We will have a mass community choir and praise and worship teams from the surrounding area perform throughout the entire event.
Pray 3 Days will make all events free and open to all registered attendees.
