Move 'em on, head 'em up, - Head 'em up, move 'em on...

With every box packed, loaded and trucked I hear that famous Moving Song - Rawhide . It makes for interesting motivation as we transition. However, outside of that noise what I really hear is the voice of the Lord saying,

"Enlarge the place of your tent,
       stretch your tent curtains wide,
       do not hold back;
       lengthen your cords,
       strengthen your stakes."

Our Mission - Wheat Tending, not Tare Plucking!

“Oh you just would not believe the oppression that is over our city.” “Well, our ruling spirit is witchcraft. But ours is drugs.” At one time it was quite in vogue among certain circles to see whose community would out oppress another’s. At conference gatherings across the nation this kind of conversation could dominate - ad nauseam. And then a strategy would be revealed to “come against” these powers and principalities.

I would submit to you that this mind set has produced little or no lasting fruit. Actually by coming into agreement with these negative forces we have often inadvertently exacerbated their malevolent activity.

Let’s direct our attention to what the gospel writer Matthew calls a parable of the kingdom of heaven - the story of the tares sown among the wheat (Matthew 13:24-30).

The Present Pressing Realities vs. The Reality of His Presence
Practicing the Presence of God – a Hallmark of a Transformational Company

Recently while meeting with a group of business leaders we talked about this very thing. I framed the conversation around this thought: Are you currently being driven by the ‘present pressing realities in your life? or by the reality of His presence in your life?
Our present pressing realities are typically extremely negative and look like this: We’re in the midst of a recession. Businesses are cutting staff. There’s no opportunity out there; The people I work with are not…; I can’t step out into a new initiative now – it’s too risky, wait till things settle down first. The other end of the spectrum is over confidence based in pride and self reliance. It’s that entitlement mentality that borders on arrogance and attitudes of pride. Interestingly enough – unbelief sits in both places. Fear, rebellion, pride, self preservation and mistakes from the past all contribute to this battle.

The Kingdom of God is…

Near, at hand (Mark 1:15), and Jesus preach the Kingdom of God wherever he went. (Luke 8)

Yet for many, the Kingdom of God is still elusive and not close at all. Maybe the sticking point is in regard to where we’re looking for it.
“The secrets of the Kingdom of God have been given to us.” (Mark 4:11)
How can it be so mysterious and so available at the same time? Let me ask you to reflect on something for a moment - If the Kingdom of God is every place where Jesus Christ is Lord, then what areas of your life is He not?

More importantly we have seen more impact and advancement through the transformation message then ever before. It’s as if Marketplace Solutions was raised up for such a time as this.
